2016 CARIBBEAN TOURISM QUALITY INDEX
The Caribbean is a region shaped by every imaginable influence, and for tourism, 2015 was a banner year. International trips to the region grew by seven percent - the second straight year tourism grew faster than the global growth rate of international trips.
The Resonance 2016 Caribbean Tourism Quality Index ranks 28 destinations from a tourism development perspective to determine the supply-side performance and competitiveness of each destination, using Absolute and Indexed scales and thousands of traveler reviews from the world’s top social media sites like TripAdvisor. The study finds that while the destinations that attract the most visitors like the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Cuba offer the highest quantity of experiences, smaller destinations like Anguilla and Saint Martin offer better quality experiences.

2016 Future of Luxury Travel Report
The 2016 Future of Luxury Travel Report identifies 10 high level trends that reflect experiences and habits that are shaping the travel experience at the high end in the U.S. and around the world. As wealthy U.S. travelers remain one of the most lucrative travel market segments in the world, and an important driver of luxury travel demand and trends across the globe, Resonance conducted an online survey with 1,667 U.S. travelers in the top 5% of U.S. households, with 724 travelers falling in the top 1%.
2016 U.S. TOURISM QUALITY INDEX
The 2016 U.S. Tourism Quality Performance Index measures tourism’s supply-side performance and competitiveness in 121 cities across the United States based on both absolute and indexed scales: the absolute scale measures the total number of quality1 experiences; the indexed scale evaluates performance in terms of how many quality experiences are delivered per visitor (i.e. the number of quality experiences per 100,000 visitors).
2016 U.S. PLACE EQUITY INDEX
Resonance Consultancy has undertaken Destination Assessments and created Destination Development Plans for a wide range of communities, cities and countries around the world. The U.S. Place Equity Index was developed to quantify and benchmark the relative quality of place, reputation and competitive identity of one city to another by collecting data for the Top 100 U.S. cities on 23 key factors that influence external perceptions of destinations as places to live, visit, work and play.
